Transforming Spaces with Sun Shore Construction: We are thrilled to present our latest bathroom remodeling project in Needham, MA. This comprehensive renovation aimed to create a luxurious, modern, and functional master bathroom, showcasing our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
Demolition and Preparation: The project began with a complete demolition, removing ceiling tiles, wall tiles, floor tiles, shower base, and all existing fixtures. This thorough approach ensured a clean slate for the transformation, allowing us to rebuild the space from the ground up.
Upgraded Shower System: A new shower drain and valve were installed to ensure optimal water flow and functionality. The new walk-in shower was framed with a lower entrance for enhanced accessibility, featuring a shower pan liner, mud base, and cement boards for both walls and ceiling. Comprehensive waterproofing was applied to prevent moisture penetration, ensuring long-lasting durability.
Stylish Tiling and Finishes: The bathroom was meticulously tiled with ceiling tiles, wall tiles inside the shower, and new floor tiles, all complemented by precise grout application for a seamless and elegant finish. This tiling work not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ensures easy maintenance and durability.
Fresh and Modern Look: To refresh and protect the surfaces, the bathroom ceiling, walls, doors, and trims/molding were professionally painted. The installation of a new vanity, along with all necessary plumbing, faucets, and drains, added to the modern look and functionality of the space.
Enhanced Functionality: Electrical and hardware updates included the installation of new GFCI outlets, switches, an updated exhaust fan, and a new mirror. New bathroom hardware, such as towel holders and toilet paper holders, were also installed to complete the look. A new, efficient toilet was added to enhance the bathroom's functionality, along with new baseboards to frame the space neatly.
Elegant Shower Door: The installation of a new hinged shower glass door measuring 27 ½” x 70” added a modern and elegant touch to the bathroom, creating a focal point that combines style with practicality.
