Sun Shore Construction is excited to present "Modern Haven," a testament to our passion for breathing new life into spaces through innovative design and meticulous craftsmanship. This renovation project transformed a second-floor bathroom into a beacon of modern elegance, showcasing our commitment to functional beauty and contemporary living.

Beginning with a Vision

The transformation journey began with a comprehensive demolition, removing the remnants of the past to pave the way for a fresh, elevated redesign. Our goal was to not just update the space, but to reimagine it, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.

The Luxurious Walk-In Shower

At the heart of "Modern Haven" lies the luxurious walk-in shower, a stunning replacement for the old bathtub. This isn't just a shower; it's a statement of modern elegance, framed with precision, featuring a mud shower base, cement boards, and thorough waterproofing. The meticulous tiling work on the walls and floor exemplifies our attention to detail, ensuring beauty and resilience.

Creating an Open, Airy Feel

By removing the corner closet, we unlocked the bathroom's full potential, enhancing its openness and transforming it into an airy retreat. This strategic choice not only maximized the space but also introduced a sense of liberation and expansiveness, critical to modern bathroom design.

Stylish Efficiency with the New Vanity

The installation of a new vanity marked a perfect marriage of style and functionality. Equipped with sleek faucets and a modern drain system, the vanity installation exemplifies our dedication to blending aesthetic appeal with practical utility.

Crisp, Clean Finishes

Our team's expertise was also evident in the fresh coat of paint applied to the walls, ceiling, doors, and trims, infusing the room with a crisp, clean ambiance. This finishing touch brought the entire room together, highlighting the transformation's breadth and depth.

Optional Enhancements for Personalization

"Modern Haven" offered homeowners the opportunity to further customize their space with optional enhancements like moisture protection for the shower wall, a sliding glass door for the shower, an LED mirror, and additional features, each adding a layer of luxury and personalization.

Conclusion: A Beacon of Modern Living

"Modern Haven" stands as more than just a renovation project; it's a reinvention of living space, meticulously crafted by Sun Shore Construction. A Journey to Modernity: Bathroom Renovation with Custom Features

At Sun Shore Construction, we recently took on a project that redefined the meaning of a modern bathroom transformation. This renovation journey turned an outdated bathroom into a space that marries functionality with sleek design, showcasing our commitment to excellence in every detail.

Creating a New Vision

The renovation began with the removal of an old closet, replaced by new drywall to set the stage for a comprehensive makeover. The transformation was aimed not just at updating the space but at reimagining its potential to meet the modern needs of the homeowners.

The Walk-In Shower Transformation

A key highlight of this project was the replacement of the traditional bathtub with a new walk-in shower. This feature was designed to elevate the aesthetic appeal of the bathroom while ensuring practicality. Tiled walls and ceiling, along with a new shower valve system, were installed, ensuring durability and style. Waterproofing and a new drain system were also incorporated, optimizing the shower's functionality.

Optimized Space with Custom Closet

In place of the old wall next to the shower, we crafted a new closet with shelves or a cabinet, enhancing the storage solutions within the bathroom. This strategic alteration not only provided additional storage space but also contributed to the efficient use of the bathroom's layout.

Modern Finishes and Details

The renovation saw the introduction of a new vanity and sink faucet, instantly updating the room's look. The exhaust fan and power outlets were replaced to meet current standards, and new bathroom hardware sets added a touch of sophistication. A frameless sliding glass door for the shower and a niche installed within the shower combined elegance with convenience.

A Fresh, New Look

The project was completed with the replacement of the floor tile and a fresh coat of paint on the ceiling, walls, baseboards, doors, and window mouldings. The installation of a recessed light above the shower and a new light fixture above the mirror ensured the bathroom was well-lit, highlighting the modern transformation.

The Final Reveal

The result of this renovation is a testament to Sun Shore Construction's dedication to transforming spaces into modern sanctuaries. The homeowners were left with a bathroom that not only meets their functional needs but also reflects their aesthetic preferences, standing as a beacon of modern bathroom design.
